Four souls in lockdown claustrophobia, dealing with lust, jealousy, love and rage. Until it... explodes.

A riveting, ambitious novel, that speaks of universal passions in a unique style. WHITE KNIGHT skillfully layers old-school glamour with gripping emotions and addictive conflict around a metaphysical backbone. Literary fiction with notes of psychological suspense and satire, it sits on the shelf with great classics that probe the human soul.

Self assured, wry prose, that seamlessly navigates between drama and hilarity. Fairytales, Greek mythology, Romanian poetry (Eminescu's "Luceafărul"), narcissism vs. society are themes which populate the pages when the characters are not locked in heart-rending conflict.

This story is based on real facts, but departs from them in exciting, surreal offshoots. Born of the author's involvement in alternative lifestyle communities (female-led relationships), the story evolved in unexpected directions through the pandemic. So it became a ... domestic suspense story of the lockdown era. What better environment than home "arrest", to put a magnifying glass over human passions, decisions and lifelong demons?

She wrote it in self imposed quarantine in a French castle, inspired by countless Provençal sunsets at the height of the pandemic.
It is the first of a series called HYPERAEON and the sequel is in the works.
